Our Services allow subscribers ("Sellers") to upload documents, add a watermark, and provide a link to their clients ("Buyers"). Upon payment, the Buyer receives a new link to download the document without the watermark. This Notice applies to both Sellers and Buyers.

This Notice does not apply when our Services link to third-party websites. Because we do not control such websites, their privacy practices may differ from ours. We are not responsible for third parties' privacy practices and encourage you to read their privacy notices carefully.

Personal Information We Collect

The types of personal information we may collect depend on your relationship with us and the Services you use:

• Contact Information: Your full name and email address.
• Account Access Information: Your username and password to secure your account.
• Payment Information: For Sellers subscribing to our service, we collect billing address, payment card details (processed securely by PayPal or PayFast), and information about the subscription purchased. For Sellers configuring payouts, we collect your PayPal email or PayFast merchant details.
• Documents: The files you upload to your account, including any personal information they may contain.
• Transactional Information: Information about activities on the Services, such as document uploads, names, and emails of parties to a transaction.
• Services Usage Information: Your IP address, device browser, operating system, and details about your use of and actions on our website.

How We Collect Personal Information

When you communicate with us or interact with our Services, we may collect personal information in the following ways:

• Directly from You: When you create an account, contact us, use our Services, or sign up for communications.
• Automatically: When you visit our websites, our web servers automatically collect information about your device and usage. We use essential cookies to manage your session and preferences.
• From Others: Other customers may give us your personal information. For example, a Seller might send you a document link, providing us with your email address and name.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to provide and improve our Services:

• Providing Services: To manage accounts, allow document uploads, perform AI-powered PII scans, process payments, and enable document access.
• Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect security incidents and protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
• Communications: To send important updates about your account, payment receipts, and technical support messages.
• Service Improvement: To analyze how our Services are used to make improvements. This may include using anonymized document text to train our AI models.
• Administrative & Legal: To enforce our policies, comply with legal obligations, and for auditing.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information as follows:

• To Your Clients/Buyers: A Seller's uploaded document is disclosed to the specific Buyer they share it with upon successful payment.
• To Service Providers: We share information with our service providers (e.g., Firebase for hosting, PayPal and PayFast for payments, SendGrid for emails) who process data on our behalf to support our Services.
• For Legal Reasons: We may share information to comply with legal obligations or to respond to valid legal processes like court orders or search warrants.
• Corporate Transactions: Your information may be transferred to a new owner in the event of a merger, sale, or acquisition of our business.

How We Retain Personal Information

We generally retain personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes we collected it, including satisfying any legal, financial, or reporting obligations. When we no longer need personal information we collected about you, we may either delete it, anonymize it, or isolate it from further processing.

Your Privacy Rights

• Right to Access: The right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can access much of this by logging into your account.

• Close Your Account: You can close your account by contacting our Support Team. Once closed, we will deactivate your account and begin deleting its information and documents.
